Pick a calm moment: after a walk or dinner, with your dog settled on their bed or the couch.
Open the clay and knead it for a minute or two until it's soft, then roll it flat into the clay tray so it fills the space evenly.
Lift a paw and press it gently into the clay for a few seconds, pads first. For a nose print, hold the tray up and let them lean in for a sniff.
Not quite right? Smooth it over and press again. The clay stays soft for a few minutes.
Gallery frame: press their name and dates into the clay with the letter stamps.
Leave it flat to air-dry for 24 to 48 hours, then clip it into the frame, add your photo and hang or stand it.
